Hi everyone!
I hope everybody is fine. Today I'm going to talk about two photos that I like. These photos complement each other, so I'll talk about both.
The first photo is a selfie of my best friend and the second is a photo of me that was taken by my mother, both photos were taken the night of November 1, 2019 and both show the same Catrina makeup.
The story behind the photos is that the traditional celebration of my friend's country "Day of the Dead" was approaching, so we decided to look for a makeup that we both liked and that day we would do makeup at the same time to share at a distance. It was a great challenge for both of us.
While we were putting on makeup, she told me about this celebration and how her family was preparing for it, we also sent photos of the makeup process and laughed together. When we finish the makeup we video called by WhatsApp and she introduced me to her family.
I like these photos because they remind me of a good time with my friend. In which in addition to sharing a new experience with her, it taught me more about Mexican culture and her family.
Finally I hope that one day I will meet her in person and we will live together this
traditional celebration.
Postscript I can say that even though I ended up removing my makeup at 2 am, it was all worth it.

I remember learning about the Day of the Dead when I was younger :)
